Should any discrepancies arise between the displayed times and local prayer schedules, it is essential for users to adhere to their local times. Reports of any differences are welcomed, as they can be addressed in future updates.

The application provides a suite of key features, including precise prayer time alerts for nearly every island in the Maldives, ensuring a reliable schedule for daily prayers. Time notifications are sent out well in advance of each prayer session, allowing for ample preparation time. The inclusion of Iqamah notifications informs when prayers are set to commence, and a widget for the home screen presents up-to-date prayer times at a glance.

Namaadhu requests certain permissions to perform critical functions: network access for sending bug reports and gathering usage data, startup operation to ensure timely prayer notifications every time the device is turned on, vibration control for silent alerts, and preventing the phone from sleeping to maintain accuracy of prayer times, particularly for Fajr.
